A windy Tissington Trail

The day started sunny but soon clouded over and I “enjoyed ” a constant strong wind all day this wind which began on Friday afternoon as I finished work for the weekend and now Sunday night seems to have died down

Today I decided to cycle the Tissington Trail ( A former mineral railway track) something I haven’t done for a long while and I realise why now it is a constant climb from the Ashbourne end all the way to the top at Parsley Hay and it must also be the biggest railway cutting in England as the views of the rolling hills are only visible in a few spots and not at all till you are about 5 plus miles along the Trail between the tree lined and cuttings there isn’t a lot to see.

The sun did pop out for very brief intervals during the day and I do mean brief, and to say it was so windy there was a real “haze”.

I managed a few shots here are the best of the few.
