Before you get up at silly o’clock and drive 99.7 miles to a location……

Before you do you should check all your checklist, I decided late last night to shoot across to Flamborough Head and Selwick Bay to get a sunrise and try out my 17-40L lens.

I checked Tide times That was good, weather forecast That was good, sunrise time matched nicely with the tide times. I checked and set my gear up ready to shoot of this morning and ensured car fuel tank was full, what I failed to do was check the sun direction on TPE  and that the access to the beach was still OK and the only way down was the steps that had been washed away in the tidal surge recently.

It wasn’t a disaster but not what was planned ……….there is always another day.

The notice I noticed when I arrived
