The Scottish Adventure May 2014

Had a great time in Scotland with Chaz, Steve, and Rachy. Lots of driving but a great meet up with really good friends and excellent company. Steve and Rachy drove up from Hereford to Chesterfield where they changed vehicles and we completed the second leg to Aberdeen and the North East.

We were hosted by Chaz who had prepared a sumptuous and very Scottish meal starting with Cullen Skink ( a haddock and potatoe soup), followed by Haggis Neeps and Tatties with a delicious cream sauce, and finishing with Cranachan (Sweet summer raspberries folded into cream flavoured with honey, whisky and toasted oatmeal) delicious, and on the last night before our return he prepared an equally delicious Thai curry……Thanks Chaz.

The weather was all over the place mainly wet, sometimes dry, sometimes warm, and sometimes cool and windy and also misty, but we still managed to get some good shots although I did try deleting a card of images and had a dicky card in my phone camera as well.

The images in the gallery below were taken at Portsoy Lido, Cullen beach, Fyvie Castle lakeside and Dunnottar Castle.
